On campus, OH Kappa has also been engaged with intention. They hosted a self-defense class with The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation and the UC Student Safety Board, and a signature philanthropy event called Angels in the Outfield with the UC Baseball team. In collaboration with the UC Women’s Center’s “Love Your Body Week”, Pi Phi hosted a table on body positivity. Pi Phi was the first ever Panhellenic Points winner, meaning they had the most chapter members attending other’s events in the community throughout fall 2017. Always striving for a climate of inclusion and collaboration, Pi Phi also hosted the women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for dinner to welcome them back to campus and discuss what a future relationship could look like.
Chapter President, lesley Knowlton, was even a Student Orientation Leader "SOL" this past summer.
"Student Orientation Leaders have an incredible opportunity to interact with all 5,000+ incoming first year students and their parents. Serving as a reliable, trustworthy, and friendly face of the University of Cincinnati is something which some of our Pi Phi sisters have had success in through the past few years. Our Pi Phi values make us great Orientation Leaders and friends of the University. Serving as a role model to new students is something we excel at, not to mention that it's fun!" -Knowlton
